Adrian's promotion at work was no surprise. He worked hard for this. He did everything right for 2 years and his boss was proud to make the offer. As they stood and shook hands in his office that Friday evening, you could feel the pride pouring out of the room. Grinning ear to ear almost skipping back to his office, anyone watching would laugh. As he turned into his office, an unmistakable big blue envelope laid right on the middle of his desk.
